Well maintain warehouse facilities for food storage: perfect ventilation, water-proof, dry, clean, bright, safe and hygiene. Windows and vents should have protective screens, all entrance should be rodent proofed, adequate drainage should be provided to prevent pooling of water during and after rainstorms. Properly design the layout of the warehouse: zone for good goods, zone for damaged and returned goods, zone for POP/POS materials, zone for pallet and tools and zone for receiving and dispatching staging area. Zone should be divided into a number of bins for different product/lot location and identification. Have a place for everything and everything in its place
